Mindful Packaging
We noticed that almost all deliveries from different suppliers either arrived poorly (too large parcels with lots of empty space) or with unnecessarily insulated parcels containing too much plastic. There is a much more environmentally friendly and affordable alternative. We have therefore been using 100% recyclable bio filling material since 2014 to fill our parcel deliveries. If something gets lost on the way, it won't leave any damage to the environment.
According to a forecast by BIEK (Bundesverband Paket und Expresslogistik e.V.), around 5 billion parcel, express and courier shipments will be sent in Germany by 2024*. As a manufacturer and retailer, we aim to reduce packaging waste to a minimum. Therefore we use fully compostable Pelaspan Bio material as primary filling material for parcel shipments.
