The AeroSpace.NRW magazine presents a wide range of interesting topics, players as well as projects and gives an insight into the strengths and potentials that North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) has to offer in the aerospace sector.

Excerpt from the article on page 22 and 23 in issue 02:
"Multi-IoT gateway for resilient nano-satellite communications: over 140 are already in orbit and will remain active for at least 10 years after launch. The power supply is self-sufficient with solar energy. Swarm SpaceBEEs (Basic Electronic Elements) provide two-way, low-bandwidth communications. Together, the companies provide the world's lowest-cost connectivity for IoT devices and IoT systems. Swarm satellites cover every point on Earth, enabling IoT devices to operate cost-effectively anywhere. GREATECH builds and supplies the compatible IoT gateways for this. These are manufactured in Germany and are constantly being developed and improved."
