The main topic was the effects of the KRITIS umbrella law and the NIS-2 implementation, as many companies have to adapt to new requirements and obligations.

A head of DLR explained the current status of the draft of the KRITIS umbrella law and outlined the planned organizational implementation and its consequences for old and new operators of critical systems. Other topics included the special conditions of the NIS 2 guidelines for ground radio facilities and satellite operators in comparison to other areas of business and research, a comprehensive insight into the topic of business continuity management (BCM) and an overview of what is important in pentesting, i.e. the security testing of a network, and which approach has proven itself in practice.

Hauptthema waren die Auswirkungen des KRITIS-Dachgesetzes und der NIS-2-Umsetzung, denn viele Unternehmen müssen sich auf neue Vorgaben und Pflichten einrichten.

Ein führender DLR Mitarbeiter erläuterte den aktuellen Stand des Entwurfes des KRITIS-Dachgesetzes und skizzierte die geplante organisatorische Umsetzung sowie deren Folgen für alte und neue Betreiber kritischer Anlagen. Thema waren außerdem die besonderen Bedingungen der NIS-2-Richtlinien für Bodenfunkeinrichtungen und Satellitenbetreiber im Vergleich zu anderen Bereichen in Wirtschaft und Forschung, ein umfassender Einblick in das Thema Business Continuity Management (BCM) sowie ein Überblick, worauf es beim Pentesting, also dem Sicherheitstest eines Netzwerks, ankommt und welche Vorgehensweise sich in der Praxis bewährt hat.
